About the artist:
Mr. Arun Morghade, a veteran artist of the region, who has dedicated all his life to art and painting. Mr. Morghade is 85 now and still active with his creations.
He works with water and oil color mainly, but his work also included line drawings. Abstract, semi-abstract and figurative...None of art form is escaped from his sharp brush. He has done more than 2000 paintings in his long artist span, which is including  some much acclaimed  series like tribes, mother and Indian celebrities. Also he has created more than 5000 portraits in last six decades.
He has done a notable number of paintings, portraits and illustrations on tribal life and culture. He spent years in traveling to see their life with close, struggle and courage in their natural habitats.
